Seattle’s quarterback was its closer on Sunday in Los Angeles.

Its former quarterback? Not so much. Russell Wilson failed to get his Broncos close enough for Brandon McManus to make the game-winning field goal. Sound familiar? Yeah, that’s how the first game of the season ended, too: the Broncos missing a field goal on the final play.

The Broncos have been going out like suckers all season, though, and while that’s done wonders for Seattle’s draft prospects, the most important thing for the Seahawks on Sunday wasn’t just that they won, but how.
