Here comes the judge, Major League Baseball handing down suspensions from the Mariners’ fight on Sunday in Anaheim.
Angels interim manager Phil Nevin — and the guy Jesse Winker yelled at during the fight — was suspended 10 games, most of anyone. At this point, Nevin has been suspended for 10 games and won seven games as the team’s interim manager.
Winker was suspended 7 games, J.P. Crawford was suspended 5 games and Julio Rodriguez was suspended 2 games.

In his mother’s footsteps
Paolo Banchero was chosen with the first overall pick of last year’s draft. He graduated from O’Dea High School, attended Duke for a year.
His mother is Rhonda Smith-Banchero, who set the career scoring record in her four seasons at the University of Washington.
The Huskies were 80-40 in Smith’s four seasons on campus, making the NCAA Tournament three times.

The Huskies haven’t had a player chosen in either of the past two NBA Drafts. MarJon Beauchamp, however, was drafted No. 24 overall by the Milwaukee Bucks.
Beauchamp is from Yakima, but played three years of high-school basketball in Seattle at three different schools.
Heavily recruited for college, Beauchamp did not qualify academically and instead of going to school began training in the Bay Area under a man known as “Hell’s Trainer” or the “Masked Trainer.”
He returned home to Yakima that year, wound up playing for Yakima Valley Community College (Go Yaks!) and this past season competed for the G League Ignite, a developmental team based in the East Bay.
