Dubs up, O's down

I'm not exactly hoping to see Oregon in Las Vegas for the conference championship, but I'm not afraid of that scenario, either. Let me explain.

I’m rooting against Oregon on Friday.

I always root against Oregon, though, and any extra interest I have in seeing the Ducks lose to the Beavers this time around has more to do with the agony this would impose upon Oregon fans as opposed to any scheduling benefit it would provide to Washington.

I feel the need to clarify this because there seem to be some people who feel that the last thing in the world Washington wants is to have to play Oregon for a second time this season. I suppose it’s possible there are even some Husky fans who actually feel this way. I just don’t happen to be one of them.
