Geno Smith was Seattle's rock in Detroit
The Seahawks quarterback provided a clear answer to anyone wondering just how they could win without their starting offensive tackles.
When a quarterback is credited for winning a game it’s often because of what he did in the final few minutes of a close contest. Geno Smith won Sunday’s game for Seattle in spite of his decisions at the end of both halves.
I say that not to harp on what Smith did at the end of the fourth quarter, but to highlight how extraordinarily well he played for the rest of Seattle’s overtime victory in Detroit.
