You can find a deeper truth in the most unlikely of places. For me, it was a Tweet from a media member I don’t respect whose Twitter account I’ve actually blocked. In fact, the only reason I saw it was because someone else I follow had screen-shotted the Tweet:

Now, we’ll get to the particulars of this story in just a second. My immediate response was that not only is Travis 100 percent correct in this opinion, but the dynamic he described can increasingly be applied to political affiliations in this country. In fact, that may go a long way to explaining his opinion on the very subject he is talking about.
