Not exactly normal
This is only the second time in 25 years that the Seahawks have had their general manager choose the coach.
On Thursday, the man who is in charge of the football operations for the Seattle Seahawks will take the stage in the main auditorium at the team’s facility and introduce the team’s new head coach: Mike Macdonald.
This is not all that extraordinary. It happens every four to five years for most teams given the average tenure of an NFL head coach. In Seattle, however, the transitions have not been so common nor have they have nearly so straight forward.
