Podcast | This doesn't smell like a rebuild

The Seahawks are playing defense in free agency, which isn't what a rebuilding team does; Greg Bishop of Sports Illustrated -- a member of our Founding Faithful -- returns for a visit.

The Seahawks are playing defense in free agency, which is a surprise to anyone who thought that this team was entering a full-scale rebuild. Re-signing safety Quandre Diggs and tight end Will Dissly should provide an insight to where this team is going.

As for quarterback? That remains a gray area. “Charcoal,” in the word of Fletch.

I’ve enlisted help to sort that out. Greg Bishop is a former co-worker, a friend and in addition to being a senior writer at Sports Illustrated, he is also one of the 23 members of the Founding Faithful here at “The Dang Apostrophe.”

I gave him a choice of subject matter at one point: pervert or unfair question. He opted for the unfair question, which he answered eloquently, and then I made him talk about Deshaun Watson anyway.

On the final day of Danny O'Neil's freshman year in high school, his height was recorded as 4 feet, 11 and one-half inches by the mean woman in charge of his P.E. class. He has never gotten over it. Well, that and a whole bunch of other things he rants about on a regular basis. So why don't you make like the apostrophe in his last name, and come hang out.
