Russell Wilson is leading the Broncos offense on its own walk-through each morning at 7 during Denver’s training camp, and I want to see if it’s possible to talk about that this quarterback-driven initiative in a calm and rational way.

“Why did you want to do that?” NBC’s Peter King asked Wilson, “and how has that work sort of manifested itself when you come out to practice?”

Wilson: “Well, I think the main thing that I’ve understood is that it’s the investment into the players and the investment, the ownership of us owning our own offense. Understanding this has to be a player-ran kind of team. We’ve got to run it ourselves, and coach (Nathaniel) Hackett gives us the keys to do that, which is great.”
