Russ's giving grief
I don't think Russell Wilson's foundation was a fraud or a scam, but he's not blameless, either, in what looks like a regrettably amateurish mess.
In Russell Wilson’s defense, his non-profit foundation did not purchase a piece of property that fell so far into disrepair that the county dispatched inmates to come cut the grass.
That was Shaun Alexander more than 10 years ago.
Like Alexander, Wilson started his own foundation to serve as a vehicle for his charitable efforts. And similar to Alexander, Wilson has now seen the inefficiency of that foundation result in not just criticism of its performance, but questions about his motivation.
