Three and Out: John Schneider's got a type
When I found out the Seahawks had acquired Sam Howell I thought of Charlie Whitehurst. Hear me out, though: It's not as bad as it sounds.
When I heard the Seahawks had traded for Sam Howell, I immediately thought of Charlie Whitehurst.
This was not due to the similarity in the length of their facial hair. OK. It was not entirely due to the similarity in the length of their facial hair. It’s because in acquiring Howell from Washington, John Schneider showed that he’s using the same playbook he did 14 years ago when it comes to finding quarterbacks.
Oh yeah, he also thinks he knows something Miami doesn’t about middle linebackers. That’s also part of our Monday morning “Three and Out.”
