I was in Central Park on a Thursday afternoon, waiting for my dog to poop when I realized that I was not the man I thought I was. This isn't a problem, necessarily, but it is a challenge
Enjoyed the piece. Self-reflection can be a very powerful tool in identifying how current situations affect overall emotional health and happiness. Do be aware though that too much inward analysis can sometime limit our ability to muscle through tough situations and lead us to quit rather than make the uncomfortable effort.
I know writing is your first love, but you do have a great radio voice. and I certainly miss you on 710. To go one step further, have you pitched NPR? After hearing this podcast it seems like your writing skills combined with your communication ability seems like it would be a good fit.
I do hope that you continue with your current endeavors. I, for one, enjoy them. Certainly, far superior to Twitter, which leads people to abbreviate to the point of illegibility with no contextual relevance.
For reference, I'm just a normal guy that's been around the block a few times. My opinion has no more weight than Joe know-it-all on Twitter (my wife probably thinks a lot less)
Very Brave. Risky even. Love the shout out to ‘Things Fall Apart’.. shout out to CWU English class.. I’m listening….
