I hear it as something he says to the parents of high school recruits, which in that context makes sense. But to not have enough awareness of your audience that you say something like that to the media the week before you play that team? This coach is not long for his multi-million dollar head coaching job in Pac12 if this ends up being more and than a one time blunder. On the bright side, at least losing to Montana is starting to make a little more sense now. :-)

Boy, Lake just has to do this during game week, smh. Honestly, the full quote appears to not be intended to be obnoxious, but sheesh, pay attention to what you’re about to say💜💛

Really missing coach Peterson man. Think Woodward takes a swing and tries to bring him to LSU..?

I'll take Chris Petersen at his word and believe that he got out of coaching because he wasn't having fun given the pressure of today's game. If he winds up going somewhere like LSU, I'm going to inevitably feel like his approach and his OKG stuff was a big bunch of mularkey. Also, I don't like Scott Woodward very much. Actually, I don't like him at all.

I’m right there with you it would feel gross.

Funny, I was pretty young then, about 13 but I remember that vividly because my grandma worked for coach lambright in the athletic department for years... Had a football signed by him, still have the duffel bag from that Sun Bowl 😂

I was baffled at how the Huskies got tromped in that game. That '95 team was really close to being great. Missed FG's doomed them against Oregon, the punter dropping a snap and the botched two-point conversion coverage were why they lost to Notre Dame.
