I was an unapologetic amateur when it came to talking into a microphone, and I wound up learning something that I'm just now beginning to put into my writing.
I was an avid 710 listener when you joined the station. At the time, I actually emailed the station saying that I thought Tom Wassell should take Mike Salk’s spot (while also telling Salk that I appreciated him, even if he also annoyed me a lot – I probably still have his reply saved somewhere). My overall point is that when it was announced that you would be taking Salk’s spot on the AM show, I was like, “Oh yeah, great pick, I didn’t even really know that Danny was an option”. Anyway, I digress…
All of that is to say that I am a reader here today because of that voice you found on the radio. Thank you.
there is no doubt I am here today and am the fan I am because of your radio show.
I enjoyed your column, will also admit I had hoped for thoughts on bill walton. I know you are/were also passionate about the "conference of champions" and am sure you would have some worthy thoughts
You’re fortunate not only to have the ability to communicate, but also understand which medium may be best for a certain message, audience, etc. A bonus is using what you learn in one to refine the other. And that learning should never stop.
And I too miss Radio Free Danny (well, the streaming was free anyway).

I think you should be back on radio.
