We're all glad you found your voice to share what you went through, Danny. I've no doubt you like "Sober Danny" as much as the rest of us; probably more.

As for your feelings toward Sark, before you were born, longtime CBS correspondent Harry Reasoner left to co-anchor ABC's evening news with Barbara Walters. Walter Cronkite closed his broadcast with a knowing grin and, "Good luck, Harry. Just not too much of it."

Happy New Year to you and Sharon. Good luck Monday nite.

Great column Danny. I love the way you tell that story and the way you take responsibility for your actions. It’s always memorable when someone can make the difficult changes that they need to and can stick with those changes.

Your column only mentions alcohol abuse, but as I recall, the rumors (& I emphasize rumors) were that Sark was quite the man about town w/the ladies even while being married. Obviously not breaking any laws, but certainly another layer to the man’s personality and ability to hurt himself and other people. As a Husky fan, I’m happy to give Sark some credit for bringing the football program back to stability. However, the players, most especially Locker, deserve the lions share of the credit💜💛
