I'm not making fun of them, but some are getting a bit up there in age and while an assistant NFL coach suffering a massive heart attack on a Joe Judge run of recompense might prove an irresistible article (you know you'd pen it, DO) I think it might just form a bit of a cloud over his coaching style.
On the other hand, perhaps Dave should have enforced mandatory runs for Jim Moore back in the day. Thoughts?

This was a very fun read! Coaches are sometimes easily overlooked in smart analysis (unless that coach is Sean McVay). Better yet, this was fun and informative content. Really hope to see more "Second Guesses 'R Us", especially as I live in a timezone where games start at 1am and coming by concise (but fun) recaps is harder than one might think.
Fun read for me. Football has many angles - all of which can produce interesting commentary. Looking into scenarios where coaches impacted the game or the environment around the game is interesting! I mean, I spent most of MNF just trying to identify if Gruden dialed up Spider 2 Y Banana. Speaking of that game and the coaches - I was wondering if that package confusion at the end of OT with the field goal unit ended up being a bit of a chess match between the coaching staff - I haven't watched the replay of that final play, but a broken coverage after multiple package changes seems like it's totally in the ballpark of something Gruden would do on purpose.
I like it, a couple typos but nothing else wrong. I for one love having bits of stuff to read like this, I retain it better than the news I hear on sportscenter or something like that, then I get to tell my friends and pretend that I'm the smart sports guy 🤣👍
