Adam Schefter did something that would get a young reporter fired. That's just a small part of the recipe for success at the front of the hot-scoop parade, though.
Thank you Danny. I’m at the point, as I think many people are, where we simply raise an eyebrow at any sort of news reporting. Idk if that’s a bad thing, but what I do know is that it makes you question EVERYTHING you hear or read, so even trying to do your own research seems like a waste of time. As a result I’ve just become apathetic and try to find that alleged bliss in my ignorance.
I wish this article would go viral. You're like a relic from a bygone era Danny. From a better time when people operated with ethics. What you have described is basically media at most levels and in most arenas. Politics, sports, business, environment...the list could go on and on. Everything has a slant and an agenda instead of analysis of facts. Hell, I'd be fine with opinions at this point. LOL.
So true. The "media" contains so many entertainers who are not journalists. A majority of talk show hosts do little research or break stories, only expound opinions that are repeated often enough that they become "fact."
Always a perspective worth my time and a good read.
FYI, your volume is way too low on the podcast Danny.
I am enjoying the candor of your blog, Danny. Good stuff. Looking forward to checking out your podcast as well.
