The firing of offensive coordinator John Donovan is just the start of the soul-searching that needs to happen for the University of Washington's football program.
Unless Huard 1) stays and 2) is Heisman material, we could be in for some ugly yearS ahead. Recruiting class in the 50s Rn? They’d better hope that new conglomerate with Coach Peterson is gonna be able to lure kids with some big checks. I can’t believe I just typed that but here we are, college football in 2021.
Well said Danny. Coach Lake shouldn't "need" to physically confront a player, ever & his actions reveal a lack of personal discipline and team discipline, not to mention, what happened to the #BuiltforLife program we were told would continue. I'm concerned about the waste of current talent and ruined recruiting this season is causing.
I feel like the firing of Donovan was a emergency rip cord yank by Lake to keep his job.
