Well at least the Mariners are well-armed

I'm reluctant to point out the consistency with which Seattle is churning out quality starting pitchers, but only because I don't want to jinx it.

I have spent a great deal of time this year bemoaning something the Mariners struggle with: spending the uncomfortable dollar.

However, given that the Mariners have won five of their last six games, I believe it’s time to acknowledge something they excel at: drafting and developing young pitching.

The Mariners are absolutely incredible in this regard, and it’s the biggest reason the Mariners are 11-11 as they head to Texas.
